Chief executive officer Kevin Rountree said: “Another cracking performance from a truly amazing, global team; a solid six months building on the great progress and profitable growth we have been consistently delivering over the last five years.
“Finally, I’d like to thank our enthusiastic and loyal fan base who share our love for the Warhammer Hobby and the fantastical settings, characters and narratives that make up our IP. Their ongoing support and feedback have been invaluable, keeping us honest when we have fallen short and driving us onward to continue to deliver more and better."

GAMES WORKSHOP UNVEILS FURTHER DIVIDEND AS SALES BOOM
(Sharecast News) - Games Workshop unveiled a dividend of 50p a share and predicted annual profit would rise by at least 69% after sales boomed during the pandemic.
The maker of miniature wargame figures said the latest dividend would take the total announced this financial year to 235p a share compared with 145p the previous year.
The FTSE 250 group said the payout was in line with its policy of "distributing truly surplus cash".
For the year to the end of May 2021 group sales will be no less than £350m compared with £270m a year earlier and profit will be at least £150m, up from £89m. Licensing royalties are included and will be about £15m, down from £17m a year earlier.
Games Workshop has traded strongly during the Covid-19 crisis as people stuck at home during lockdowns have spent spare cash on the company's miniature figures. The company announced a dividend of 45p a share in March.
Employees will receive £12m in share bonuses during the year, paid equally to each member of staff, up from a total of £2m the year before.
The 50p dividend will be paid on 5 July for shareholders on the register at 28 May, with an ex-dividend date of 27 May.

ovviamente il mercato reagisce in maniera strana ed il titolo apre in negativo, secondo me principalmente per la tendenza attuale di "prendere soldi e scappare" che un po' tutti stanno avendo con sto mercato imprevedibile.Miniature wargames manufacturer Games Workshop posted a jump in full-year profit and revenue on Tuesday and lifted its dividend as it continued to benefit from increased interest in its miniature figures since Covid restrictions were put in place.
In the year to 30 May 2021, pre-tax profit rose to £150.9m from £89.4m the year before, on revenue of £353.2m, up from £269.7m. The firm had guided to pre-tax profit of no less than £150m and revenue of no less than £350m.
Games declared a dividend payout of 235p, up from 145p the year before.
Chief executive officer Kevin Rountree said: "After a tough year we are delighted that the Warhammer hobby and Games Workshop are in great shape; thanks to everyone involved and thanks to everyone that continues to keep us safe and well."
strano che non abbia nominato il nuovo AoSRountree said the latest edition of the group’s Warhammer 40,000 game, which features characters such as the skeleton-like Necron Warriors and the multi-limbed Canoptek Plasmacyte, had been the group’s “most successful launch to date”. A new Cursed City game, in which players try to liberate the populace from an undead ruler, had sold out quickly. Sales were particularly strong in the US.

(Sharecast News) - Shares of miniature wargames manufacturer Games Workshop tumbled on Friday after Jefferies cut its estimates and price target to reflect freight and forex challenges.
The bank cut its FY22 revenue estimate by 2% to £380m and its pre-tax profit estimate by 4% to £157m.
Jefferies said it was keeping an eye on signs of discontent in the Warhammer fan base, although it is "not overly concerned at this stage".
The bank, which rates the stock at 'buy', cut its price target to 12,250p from 13,200p.
At 1335 BST, the shares were down 7% at 9,715p.
invece va su, c'era una qualche correlazione strana l'anno scorso dato che l'idea generale era che la gente in quarantena spendeva un sacco di soldi a montare soldatini dato che aveva piu' tempo libero
Games Workshop is pleased to confirm that trading since the last update in September 2021 is in line with expectations. The Board's estimate of the results for the six months to 28 November 2021, at actual exchange rates, is sales of not less than £190 million (2020: £186.8 million) and profit before tax of not less than £86 million (2020: £91.6 million).
At constant currency, the Board's estimate of sales for the six months to 28 November 2021 are not less than £197 million (2020: £186.8 million). This has been driven by growth in our trade and retail channels, following the reopening of the majority of our retail stores.
As always, we remain focused on our core business metrics and are working tirelessly to improve the ones that are in our control. Our operating profit-pre royalties receivable is estimated to be down c.£15 million. However, excluding foreign exchange movements, increased carriage costs and the costs of paying more to our great staff, our core business operating profit is broadly in line with last year's exceptional performance.
As in the prior year, we are paying £2,500 in cash to each employee under the Group Profit Share Scheme in December (£6.9 million; 2020: £6.2 million) to reward their exceptional contribution to our performance. Dividends declared in the period are 100p per share (2020: 80p).
Licensing income has increased to c.£19 million (2020: £8.7 million) driven by significant computer game licensing deals with Nexon and other major licensees. The related guarantee income is recognised on signing the contract in line with our usual accounting policy.
Further details will be announced in the half yearly report which will be released on 11 January 2022.
